Create Your Custom Audience

A Custom Audience lets you select a specific group of users based on defined characteristics or behaviors, and is used to run targeted tests. Instead of testing on a random sample of all users, you test only on those who meet certain criteria.


How Does Custom Audience Work?

  • Each survey uses one Pinion Poll credit, even if the shoppers doesn't meet your qualifying criteria.
  • We recommend surveying at least 500 shoppers to ensure you reach enough qualified people. You can always survey additional shoppers later if needed.

How to Setup Your Custom Audience?

Custom Audiences are built right into your ProductPinion dashboard.

Step 1: Audience Name

Enter a name for your Custom Audience so you can easily find it later.

Step 2: Number of Shoppers

Enter the number of shoppers

📝 Tip: We recommend surveying at least 500 shoppers to ensure you get enough qualified responses. You can always add more later if needed.

Step 3: Standard Demographics

Customize your demographic preferences. You can choose Fastest Available Shoppers or customize your preferences.

  • Sex
  • Household Income
  • Age
  • Amazon
  • Country
  • Language

Step 4: Qualifier Questions

Add a question to filter your audience based on interests or behaviors.

📝 Tip: A good qualifier question provides multiple options without revealing which answers qualify, ensuring honest responses. For example, ask "What is your favorite animal?" instead of "Do you love cats?"
